Read for the weekend

It's been a long week, and it's going to be a long weekend, but I'm ready for it. Sammy is still sick, but I think the medicine the doctor gave us is helping some. She seemed up and alert and not coughing nearly as much as she has been the last 4 days. The lack of sleep IS doing a number on my eating. I caught myself eating some leftover chicken nuggets pretty late last night, and dinner was a hodge podge of raman and other things around the house, just because I didn't feel like cooking anything, or caring about what I was eatting.

I know. Wrong attitude, but you know how it is. There are just sometimes when I could give a flip about what I'm putting into my body. I'm trying to decrease the amount of times those are. Anyone have any tips on that?

Oh yeah, and you might have noticed, I'm trying to get away from a punctuation habit that was drilled into me when i was a kid. 2 spaces after a period. I just learned that writing on the interwebs has ruled that a no no now. Did you know that? Now it's only 1 space. It goes back to the reason for it in the first place. With the old printers it was hard to tell that a period was a period at times, so they left two spaces to help identify that. Now, you can read it easily, so there's no need, and it saves characters to leave out the 2nd one everytime. It's so hard to remember to do though. See.. I did it there. And it does look like you could sail a boat through that space. Oh well. I guess my post just lost some weight. Some empty spaces (calories).
