Wow, last night was not good! We had a family dinner and we were being good eating our steaks and asparagus. But then my father in law put that brisket he had made out on the table, and we had to try it. And WOW it was good. Then the hotdogs looked real good.. and the chips... and the easter eggs filled with peanut butter!! OH MY.
We didn't fall off the wagon. We plain broke the axle on it! We ended the love affair with meat and chips with a stop by Brewsters on the way home and a Strawberry cone later, we made it home.
The day after. It is seriously like a hangover. A meat hangover. I swear I feel brisket juice sweating out of my pores, and I've been on the pot all morning long with a stomach ache. It's TERRIBLE! But holy cow if nothing else, it's made me WANT to go back to eating nothing. So, the damage done for one day, and I didn't think it would really be that much, but I gained almost 2 lbs. I went overboard last night, but not THAT overboard. No way I ate 2 lbs worth of food. But I guess the scale doesn't lie! OR DOES IT! Bring out the flood lights, and the GNR! We'll get to the bottom of this.

So glad I found this. I committed the terrible sin after 5 1/2 weeks, almost at maintenance when we went away for a few days. The first 2 I did ok, theni said, oh I'll just have some bacon and eggs and just an apple for lunch.i did that for 2 days then decided ti see how many calories were in bacon!wooooo momma! I consumed 500calories just for break fast. Them 2 days following I caved in and had a cookie, sandwich, candy bar, soup. I'll be home in 3 hours after driving 20 hours to see the damage I did. I think I'll wait till morning to weigh. Instead of starting maintenance Wed. I'm going to do a week on VLCD to get the sugar and carbs out of my system.
